The proposed development is located within Flood Zone 3 and is considered “More Vulnerable” under the National Planning Policy Framework. Therefore mitigation measures will be taken by placing the building on voids with the same footprint of that of the existing building.  The proposals involve the demolition of the existing two-storey house and associated garage to be replaced with a three-storey block comprising of 7 high quality apartments.
