This development is a new building six storey block comprising ground floor commercial uses and student accommodation on the upper floors, replacing red brick two storey building built in the 1930s. The undisclosed site is allocated as mixed use in the adopted Liverpool UDP, suitable for various types o development.

The proposals include 160 studio units with associated facilities, and the predominant use of brick is appropriate and welcomed by the planning authority.
